Once you're out of the house, find somewhere safe near the building. If you live with your family, try to meet up with them. Dial 9-1-1 and wait for the fire department to arrive. Do not run back into the burning building to save anyone or anything.
How do I clean up after the fire?
You can enter the building only after the fire department has given you permission to go back inside. Make a list of all damaged items, and dispose of them. Thoroughly wash the house. Save receipts for anything you've purchased related to fire loss. They might be needed later by the insurance company.
